After spending more than two decades in the world of KYC (Know Your Client) and Compliance in the fast-paced financial services industry, I decided to take a bold leap of faith and pursue my true passion: writing. Now, I am thrilled to finally say I am a full-time writer.
Throughout my journey in the financial sector, I’ve been lucky enough to work with a mix of financial institutions and people from around the globe. My days were filled with delving into industries, unravelling the stories about companies and all the people behind them. I would then weave this information into detailed reports for my colleagues’ review and approval.
Each company had its unique style, and every colleague brought their set of specific preferences and requirements for these reports. This taught me to be a bit of a chameleon in my writing – flexible and adaptable to match the unique needs and expectations of each company, product, and audience.
Lately, I’ve been working with beauty companies, turning their products into must-haves. I’m also helping construction companies build their online presence – tweaking website copy, crafting newsletters and fine-tuning social media posts. Behind the scenes, I’ve been working with technology companies, writing some ghostwritten content. It’s a whirlwind of creativity, and I’m loving every minute of it!
When I’m not lost in the world of words, you’ll find me cosied up with films – true crime and horror are my usual go-to’s! I’m a bookworm and a travel enthusiast, always up for an adventure. Writing is my forever love, and for the past seven years, I’ve been pouring my thoughts into a personal blog, writing under a pseudonym on various platforms.
