That’s where I come in! At Clare H Writes, I specialise in supporting small businesses with the day-to-day tasks that come with owning and running a business.

What Exactly Do Your Business Support Services Include? 

I offer a wide range of services designed to take the stress out of running your business. Here’s what I can help with:

  • Copywriting: Blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, emails, website content — you name it!
  • Admin Support: Email management, data entry, calendar management, customer communication, and more.
  • Content Planning & Management: Creating content ideas, building calendars, and managing and scheduling your social media posts.

Since I work remotely, I tailor my services to your specific business needs. 

 

How Do I Know If Your Services Are Right for My Business? 

I mostly work with small businesses and sole traders, from roofers and electricians to beauticians and hairdressers.

To see if we’re a good fit, we’ll start with an initial chat where we’ll go over your goals and the areas you need help with. From there, I can customise my services to fit your business needs, whether it’s saving you time, improving customer communications, or giving your marketing a little TLC.

 

How Do You Work with Clients Remotely?

Remote work has never been easier! If you already use certain platforms, I can work with those, or I can suggest some tools that might be a better fit.

I believe in clear, regular communication. You’ll never have to sift through a bunch of emails or folders to figure out what’s going on. At the end of each day, I’ll send you a quick update — via text, WhatsApp, or email — so you can see everything laid out clearly.

No office space. No overhead. You pay for the work done in the time it takes.

 

How Do You Charge for Your Services?

For copywriting, I charge project-based rates, depending on the work involved. Admin support is billed hourly, starting at £25 per hour. Please note that any external costs,  like platform fees or software subscriptions, aren’t included in my hourly rates.

The time you pay for covers the work itself, and I’ll send you an update once the task is complete. For example, if you’ve booked two hours for a task, I’ll spend that time working on the task, and once those two hours are up, I’ll send you a detailed update on what’s been done.

 

Can You Help Me with Long-Term Projects or One-Off Tasks?

Absolutely! Whether you need ongoing support with monthly newsletters or just a one-time update to your website content, I’m happy to help with long-term projects and ad-hoc tasks. No commitment is required; I’m flexible.

 

What Admin Software or Platforms Do You Support?

I can work with just about any admin software you’re using. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or anything else. I’ve even helped clients switch to new platforms in the past, which made their work easier.

Whatever you use, I’ll adapt to make it work!

 

Can I Adjust the Hours I Hire You For?

Of course! Things change, and I’m here to help with whatever comes up. If you need more support during busy times or want to cut back, just let me know. If something urgent pops up, I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

 

How Do Payments Work? Do I Need to Sign a Long-Term Contract?

Payments are simple and flexible. I accept bank transfers, and you can pay either weekly or monthly. If you’re booking longer-term support, I ask for 50% upfront to secure your booking.

If you sign up for ongoing work, we can set up recurring payments, and the longer you commit, the better the rate! Everything will be agreed upon upfront, so there won’t be any surprises.

 

How Do You Prefer to Communicate with Clients?

I like to keep things simple! You can contact me via phone, WhatsApp, or email. For bigger discussions, I prefer scheduling a call to manage my time efficiently. After any calls, I’ll always follow up with an email to confirm everything.

 

What Is the Turnaround Time?

I work efficiently to get things done, but the timeline depends on your needs and my current schedule. We’ll agree on a deadline together, so you’ll always know when to expect the work.

 

How Do You Protect My Information?

I take your privacy seriously and handle all your information, like emails and customer details, with care. I’ve managed sensitive data for clients before, so you can trust that your info is safe with me.
